Wasserberg is yet another wooded summit. It can be reached from the car park (Wanderparkplatz Gairenbuckel) close to „Gairenhof“ near Schlat. Finding the actual summit is easy with GPS assistance.
On April 18th we had lots of snow and it stayed for a couple of days. So this was rather a winter activation. When reaching the summit I noticed that I left the insulating cushion in the car. Hence activation was very uncomfortable sitting on my gloves.
Activity on 20m was low and resulted in just one QSO. After QSY-ing to 30m the activation qualified. It was freezing cold and I was quite happy to QRT after 25 minutes.
