My first activation of Limburg – the first one which ran on solar power (SOTA goes green 😉 )
Wx: Sunny, approx. 20°C, no clouds
Walking time 25 min. up, 20 min. down
Ascent/ descent: approx. 200m
Conditions seemed to be very good according to the many RBN spots I got. The activation was probably hampered by the CW part of SAC which took place at that time.
The number of QSOs on all bands was unusually low. Nevertheless on 20m two DX QSOs with NA went into the log.
On 30m the activity was surprisingly low considering the fact that the contest bands were crowded with contesters. The usual pile-up on 40m was non-existent.
Rig: KX3 / 10W, 7.2Ah AGM, Palm Pico Paddle
Ant: EFHW Dipole (40m, 30m, 20m) as inverted L on a 6m GRP pole
4 CW QSOs on 20m
3 CW QSOs on 30m
21 CW QSOs on 40m
1 CW QSO on 60m
